Here’s how to get your hands on our flowers….
The Farmstand
The farmstand is open from early June to mid-October, depending on the weather and that year’s flower production. In addition to flowers, you may also be able to purchase eggs from our chickens, beeswax candles, or any extra produce we might happen to have. Offerings are posted on Mondays and Thursdays on both our social media and in our newsletter.
The farmstand is located 10 minutes from Saskatoon, just off Highway 16. To get there from Saskatoon, go towards Clavet on Highway 16. Take the West Exit towards Clavet. At the stop sign, turn right (away from Clavet). There will be a dead end shortly after. Turn left onto Daisy Lane South and cross the tracks. We are the first acreage on the left. The stand is tucked in the trees a bit.
Everything is on an honour system, so take what you’d like, and either e-transfer shiftingroots@gmail.com or leave cash in the cash box.
If you would like me to set aside something for your visit, please DM me on Instagram, and I’ll put your name on it. Email is less reliable during the summer months as I’m often working outside and don’t get to my computer as often as I’d like.
Bouquet Subscription
The best way to get your hands on our blooms is to purchase a bouquet subscription. Spots are sold from November to May on a first come-first-served basis. You’ll get one bouquet in June, July and August.
Subscribers will have 2 options for pickup at our usual spot in the mall across from South Costco, or can pick up at the stand any time during the month with 24 hours’ notice.
Markets
Every year, I participate in a few pop-up markets in and around Saskatoon. At this time of writing, I don’t know which ones I will be accepted for, but in the past, I have been at the Sask Maker Sale, Hometown Christmas Market, St. Isadore Market, Kith and Kin, MRKT, the Mom Market, and the Prairie Flower Market. I also participate in the wedding shows around Saskatoon.
