Let’s make something beautiful together! Here’s how the booking process works:
- Once you’ve checked out the website and determined that we are a good fit, message me at shiftingroots@gmail.com or DM me @shiftingblooms on Instagram. During the summer months, you will get a faster response on Instagram, as I only tend to be at my computer one day a week. I’ll answer any questions you may have and send you my full a-la-carte menu
- Share any inspiration photos you have so I can get a sense of the vibe and style you have in mind.
- After you’ve sent in your order form, I’ll send you an invoice. 40% of the total is due to hold your date, and the final 60% is due one week before the wedding. The deposit is non-refundable.
- One month before the wedding, we’ll check in and make sure your orders and colours are still the same. You can also add to your order if needed.
- One week before the wedding, I’ll share some pictures of different flowers that are in the garden in your colours, to make sure we’re on the same page. Once that’s confirmed, your order will be cut in the field on the Wednesday or Thursday.
- I typically arrange your order on Thursdays and Fridays, depending on when you choose to pick up.
- Choose your pick up time! Most couples get a friend or family member to pick up their order sometime during the Friday before the wedding, or Saturday morning. I am able to offer Thursday pickup if needed, although you will need to have someplace cool to store your flowers.

How Does My Order Come?
If it’s a nice day out, your order will be either in the farm stand or by the sign in the shade in a cart. I put it out a few minutes before your scheduled arrival, and will be watching for you. If the weather is bad, knock on the house door, and I’ll bring everything out to your vehicle.
All bouquets and loose flowers come in buckets. This is because they are less likely to tip over in your vehicle, and no one has to worry about adding more water before the wedding.
If you order buckets of blooms, please note that I may combine buckets to save space. For example, if you order 5 buckets worth of flowers, you may end up with 3 or 4 physical buckets instead. However, you will still receive the amount of stems you paid for.
